BIPOC Professional Associations
Professional and trade associations are a wonderful way to start building your professional network. You can use associations to follow industry news, learn new skills, find fellowships and scholarships, discover leadership training and conferences, and locate relevant job/internship postings. Identity-specific associations also let you explore the intersection between your identity and your career and frequently provide a greater degree of mentoring for young professionals (that’s you!).
