Exploratory

At Grinnell, preparing for your future isn’t something you have to figure out alone . . . it’s built into your student experience from the very beginning! Every incoming first-year and transfer student is paired with an adviser from the Exploratory Career Community, who’ll support and guide you as you begin to shape your career path.

Your professional journey awaits!

Together with an Exploratory Adviser, you’ll have the chance to navigate your interests, values, and strengths while developing the tools to deepen your self-reflection and growth. Along the way, you’ll be introduced to a wide network of support—from CLS staff and campus offices to professional databases, assessments, alumni, and employers. Throughout our work together, we’ll encourage you to engage in meaningful experiences that spark your curiosity and passion, helping you feel confident and prepared to transition into one of the CLS’s pre-professional Career Communities when the time feels right.
