Health Pros: Virtual Interviews
Virtual interviews began in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools have begun returning to fully in-person interview days, although many remain virtual or have adopted a hybrid system, offering candidates the option of a virtual interview. There is no preference in the selection process for candidates who choose one style over the other. Schools know applicants choose their interview dates for a variety of reasons.
Types of Virtual Interviews
Like in-person interviews, virtual interviews can take a variety of formats, including MMI and case-based group sessions. Additionally, virtual interviews may be live or asynchronous. In the latter, there will not be an interviewer present, and you will record your responses. Kira is a popular platform for asynchronous interviews.
