Position Summary:
Reporting to the Sitecore Architect, the Intern Sitecore Developer will primarily involve the hands-on development of solutions in Sitecore and an in-depth understanding of the best practices in developing and enhancing Sitecore websites. The candidate must have knowledge in .Net framework and web applications development. Additionally, being a key team member must follow all the processes and standards in a fast-paced agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new components or enhancements to existing ones.
- Work closely with Sitecore Architect, other Sitecore developers from Vendor teams, analysts and deliver quality technical solutions.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to the stakeholders.
- Willing to develop Sitecore solutions following all possible guidelines and best practices.
- Stay on top of technological advancements in Sitecore and the possible benefits that it can provide to Hub.
- Be a positive influence and a contributing team member.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and other functional team meetings.
- Provide accurate estimates for any future projects or requirements based on high-level requirements.
- Ensures all Key deliverables are done in a timely manner with maximum quality.
- Understands the point of the exercise and feels comfortable making decisions and asking questions that advocate for value-driving solutions.
Qualifications:
- Must have completed junior year in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Some experience with Sitecore and its ecosystem, comprising Sitecore, Helix, Habitat, Sitecore Commerce, Personalization, etc.,
- Working experience in Sitecore Headless CMS, exposing components using custom API and Sitecore JSS framework.
- Understanding development of React WebApps.
- Exposure to SXA, Helix and Habitat principles, Sitecore Commerce, Coveo for Sitecore, SOLR.
- In-depth knowledge of Sitecore principles and working with templates, Renderings, Pipelines, Media library.
- Understanding of Azure deployments and CI/CD environments, GitHub and Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment tools
- Knowledge in SQL.
- Experience with or ability to learn integrating Rest API/ SOAP etc.,
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Angular, etc.,
- Ability to learn to work in an Agile scrum team
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of SDLC; development and testing methodologies
- Ability to adapt to quickly changing business conditions.
Nice to Have:
- Experience using Jira, Confluence.
- Experience with Azure and Amazon Cloud (AWS)
- Working in Sitecore Managed Cloud environment (PaaS)
