Summer Health Professions Education Program Application Due 2/5/25

The deadline to apply for the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is February 5. This free program is implemented at 12 universities across the nation. Each institution provides scholars with academic enrichment in the basic sciences and math, clinical experiences, career development activities, learning and study skills seminars, and a financial planning workshop. Professions include dentistry, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and public health. Housing and meals are covered by the host institution. Participants also receive a small stipend as well as a travel allowance.
