My name is Stephanie Wongronowitz. I am a corporate recruiter at a company called Epicore Software. Our software is ERP software which stands for enterprise resource planning. Basically, our software helps businesses run their business. My role is to recruit for our professional services business unit. So anywhere from implementation consultants project managers, software engineers, anything within that realm is my responsibility. So I am what's called a full cycle recruiter. So I'm in charge of the entire recruiting process. When I hiring manager opens a requisition, which is an open job, I will get on the phone with a hiring manager and do what's called an intake call to gather requirements about the position, get a job description, talk about what they're looking for. I will then post the position on our career site and start to monitor applicants that apply from our career site. Often times, if a position is a niche role, or requires some very specific aspects, I will get on Linkedin. I have a Linkedin recruiter account and do some sourcing from Linkedin. So I will type in requirements for the role, and try to find candidates that way. I'm then in change of doing initial phone screens for candidates. So going over the role, very high level. Going over things like availability, travel, compensation, et cetera, and then passing those notes along to my hiring managers. From there, I'm kind of the guide throughout the rest of the process. If the hiring manager would like to speak to the candidate next. As the candidate goes through the process speaking to the next person, and the next person, I'm their main point of contact. And then throughout the entire cycle, I'm in charge of either turning the candidate down and providing feedback or entering and making offers as a conclusion.
