The Grinnell Graduate Survey

The Graduate Survey for the Class of 2026 is now live. Seniors, please tell us your story!

Each year, the CLS surveys the graduating class to learn about Grinnellians’ first steps after graduation and the experiences that helped them get there. This graduate survey provides the data for our Graduate Outcomes site. Students and alumni use it to find out what companies hire Grinnellians for jobs or internships. Prospective students and their family use it. Faculty and staff across campus use it. We even use it at the CLS to improve our advising. It’s our only way of finding out, in aggregate, what Grinnellians do, and where they go.

What’s in it for you? Well, aside from the satisfaction of contributing to a resource for all Grinnellians, we’ve got prizes*:

  • Everyone who completes the survey before Commencement (Monday, May 18) will receive a Class of 2026 exclusive bit of Grinnell swag from the CLS.
  • We’ve got three pairs of Apple AirPods (third generation) to raffle off for survey completers. We’ll give one pair away on Commencement Day, a second in August, and a third in December. The Graduate Survey stays open through the end of 2026.

What if you don’t have your post-grad plans sorted out yet? No problem! The survey asks about your experiences during college (e.g., internships, research, leadership, service, etc.) as well as your next steps. If you’re still working on your post-Grinnell plan, complete the survey now and we’ll check in on your progress in a few months.

*The details:

  • This survey is for May 2026 and December 2025 Grinnell graduates.
  • Bring your survey completion confirmation email to the CLS (John Chrystal Center 2nd floor) during finals week to get your CLS-exclusive prize. Available in-person only.
  • Everyone who completes the Graduate Survey by noon on Friday, May 15, is eligible for the first chance to win a pair of Apple AirPods. The winner can pick up AirPods at the CLS on Commencement Day (Monday, May 18). If you’re not on campus, we’ll mail them to you.
  • Grads who’ve completed their survey by 11:59 pm Thursday, August 27, will be eligible for the second drawing for AirPods. Grads who’ve completed the survey by 11:59 pm Thursday, December 17 will be eligible for the third and final drawing.
