CLS Transportation Resources for Students

Grinnell students may seek assistance from the CLS for transportation under the following circumstances.

Professional Development Grants—for third- and fourth-year students—are available to assist with the expenses associated with attending a professional conference, among other non-travel related costs. Please note students presenting research (as in a MAP) at a conference should first apply for funding through the Dean’s Office by submitting their Student Conference Travel Form.

Graduate School Grants may assist with transportation expenses to/from admission test administration sites for third- and fourth-year students.

Transportation needs for Service Activities and Community-Engaged Classes may be addressed by the Civic Activity arm of the CLS. Please note there is no guarantee of transportation. See the series of action steps students may take to request transportation assistance.
