Become an Alumni Connection

One conversation can change a student’s perspective.

Grinnell students are eager to learn from alumni about careers, industries, and life after college. By joining our Alumni Connections directory, you can help students explore possibilities, build confidence, and expand their networks in ways that fit your schedule and interests.

You decide how you’d like to help. Some alumni are happy to answer an occasional question by email. Others enjoy informational interviews, mentoring, or hosting a job shadow. However you choose to be available, your insight can make a meaningful difference.

Creating a listing is as simple as filling out our Alumni Connections People form. Your directory listing lets students know who you are, what you do, how you’re available to connect, and the types of support you’re willing to offer. Students are encouraged to contact you only for the opportunities you’ve selected, and you can update or remove your listing at any time by contacting the Center for Careers, Life, and Service [career@grinnell.edu].
