AVODAH: Jewish Service Corps
AVODAH’s year long program, the Jewish Service Corps, allows participants ages 21-26 to spend a year working full-time at a leading non-profit organizationin one of our four program cities (Chicago, New Orleans, DC, and New York City) while learning and living in a pluralistic Jewish framework. Corps Members contribute to critical work being done on some of the most crucial justice issues facing our country today, including immigration, food insecurity, healthcare, and more. They’re supported along the way by innovative programming and intentional communal living. We want to make sure that future changemakers have the on-the-ground experience, systemic analysis, skills, resources, Jewish social justice insights, and networks to do this work well and in a sustainable manner for the long haul.
