Graham graduated with a degree in Physical Archaeology from Grinnell and reports: “For a variety of reasons, I found myself back in the Tech field (Graham was a former UC, and Desktop Support during the summers and winters). I had a meandering path through the Tech world over the subsequent 5 years (AI Firm, Apple Phone Support, Server support), but found my way into Cyber Security. I have been deep in the field of Cyber Security since 2007 and now work for a US Government contractor doing enterprise defense and cyber investigations including Digital Forensics.”
Graham writes, “I have had a lot of time to learn work life balance, how to be a present dad while working in a high-stress career, and how to find joy while the world is on fire.”
About Grinnell, Graham has many great memories, including the Loose Second Water Gun Fight of ’96, reading on Mac Field, and Harris concerts. “Grinnell was one of the best and hardest 4 years of my life. I was not the same person when I left. The people, the critical thinking, the discussions, the support were all so important to making me who I am. Grinnell felt like a wonder little island of deep thinking and amazing education, with a nice little pillow wrapped around it. It made it hard to leave.”
