Virtual externship March 2026 for one student.
The student will gain valuable insights into the processes of writing, testing, and deploying code as well as observe how our team collaborates to develop software solutions and understand the role technology plays in driving business decisions. This experience will enhance their knowledge of the software development lifecycle and the impact of engineering in the insurance industry, all while engaging in meaningful discussions and learning from experienced professionals.
Deepit hosted a successful externship in March 2025. Building on that experience, he is currently offering a virtual opportunity in March. The extern will need to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete Extern Training on Cornerstone.
Deepit (he/him) spends his workdays writing, testing, and deploying code to support product and benefit, underwriting, and actuarial systems. He has been with Wellmark since graduation in 2024.
