This role in summary

Whirlpool is seeking an Talent Acquisition Coordinator to deliver recruiting coordination service, communication, and care at the pinnacle of hospitality and professionalism for our Executive Global Organization. This role is onsite based in Benton Harbor, MI.

This individual plays a critical role within the organization by bringing their focus, precision, and attention to detail, in order to provide a curated and high-touch experience. Supporting each candidate throughout the recruitment process as needed.

This is a great opportunity to enter the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition (TA) organization with pathways for growth.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Supporting candidates regarding logistics, scheduling, and other information assistance when needed
  • Manage the assessment process and additional projects with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Proactively anticipate, identify, and address potential issues or obstacles
  • Build deep and trusted relationships at all levels across the business
  • Hold others accountable to standards of performance, coordination best practices, and scheduling service level agreements with external and internal partners
  • Pinpoint and offer recommended improvements to enhance and streamline processes, including any supporting recruitment materials
  • Collaborate with peers and other colleagues to support the broader team; assist with standard administrative duties such as preparing and proofreading documents
  • Preserve confidentiality of applicable materials and communications
  • Enter and track information in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) system, and other technology platforms related to the coordination and logistics of our candidates and new hires
  • Support the post-offer process by escalating issues to senior management or other key stakeholders; managing background screens and drug testing process and documentation, and communicating results to recruiters, candidates, and other involved parties
  • Support critical operational activities such as invoicing for candidate travel, external search firm purchase order management and supporting

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in administrative support or project management experience (experience may include academics, internship or co-op)
  • 1+ years of experience coordinating projects

Preferred skills and experiences

  • 2+ years experience supporting senior management in large corporate environments or senior professionals in a professional service firms
  • Proven track record of streamlining logistical workflows and data management to minimize errors and maximize operational efficiency
  • Highly resilient in fast-paced environments, with a demonstrated ability to recalibrate priorities and maintain seamless service delivery for executive stakeholders.
  • 1+ years coordination experience within Executive Talent Acquisition teams
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.)
  • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems, Candidate Relationship Management tools, or relevant travel and scheduling tools
