The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is hosting two ADEA GoDental JumpStart events for first- and second-year undergraduate students interested in exploring careers in dentistry. These one-day, in-person programs introduce students to the dental school environment, provide hands-on learning opportunities, and help participants begin preparing for the dental school application process through the Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS). With only 75 seats available at each event, early registration is encouraged.

At either event, students will have the opportunity to:
- Tour a dental school and gain firsthand insight into life as a dental student.
- Engage with dental students, admissions staff and other predental students from the region.
- Learn about ADEA GoDental resources and the ADEA AADSAS application process, including key requirements and timelines.
- Participate in a structured hands-on activity that mirrors early dental clinic experiences.
Students will also connect with admissions professionals and current dental students while gaining a clearer understanding of what dental schools look for in applicants and how to begin building a strong foundation for a future application.
There is no cost to attend, although participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging. CLS Explore Grants are available to offset travel expenses.
