CFA Student Research Challenge

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Each student will be tested on their analytical, valuation, report writing, and presentation skills. They gain real-world experience as they assume the role of a research analyst. The Business and Finance Career Community is leading a team in this competition again this year. The guidelines for the team are:

  • Our team will consist of 4 students
  • Open to any student major in any year
  • Must be available to work with the team selected approximately 5 hours per week

If you are interested in being considered for a spot on this year’s CFA Research Challenge Team please submit the following:

1- a pdf copy of your current resume

2- a brief essay of 250 words or less explaining why you want to participate on the team

These materials should be emailed together to Donna Miller (millerdo@grinnell.edu) no later that 1:00pm central time on Wednesday , October 29th. Any questions about the CFA competition should be directed to Michael Lawrence at the CLS.
