The Diversifying the Next Generation of Doctors Career Fair and Workshops will be held on March 23, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus (OH). Get the scoop from trustworthy sources on how to apply and get into medical school—and how to succeed once you get there. This free, in-person event is sponsored by the AAMC Group on Diversity and Inclusion (GDI) and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. All are welcome!
Who should come?
College students, parents, prehealth advisors, school administrators, and other interested individuals are encouraged to attend. While the focus is on supporting individuals from diverse and underserved communities, we welcome participation of all college students interested in medicine and the biomedical sciences.
Event highlights:
- Talk with diversity affairs and admissions officers and PhD and MD-PhD program directors.
- Attend a panel discussion about the pathway to becoming a physician or medical researcher.
- Participate in hands-on medical and health activities.
- Learn about the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP), Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®), and other AAMC services.
