Students: Are you seeking to build skills over a school break (or even a weekend)? You can engage in free, short virtual work simulations through Forage. Committing just a few hours can help you to better understand career pathways, build skills and confidence, and add an experience designed and delivered by leading companies to the appropriate section of a growing résumé.

How does a Forage experience work?

  • Click the Forage link to be taken to the Forage Explore Sign-up page for students at Grinnell College
  • Create an account
  • Choose your experience and work through a series of hypothetical tasks designed to simulate the type of work an intern might do within a given organization.
  • Spend six to eight self-paced hours engaged in the simulation.
  • Use Forage’s Reference Guide to add the experience to your résumé and LinkedIn profile.
