$$$ for Grad School!

If you’re aiming for graduate school in science or social science, the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship should be on your radar. This fellowship provides generous funding to support your graduate studies as well as invaluable professional development and mentoring. You’re eligible to apply if:

  • You are applying to (or enrolled in) a research-based graduate degree–either master’s or PhD–at a US institution in a field funded by NSF (life sciences, computer and information science, materials research, psychology, social sciences, STEM education, engineering, chemistry, geosciences, mathematical sciences, physics, astronomy)
  • You’re a US citizen or permanent resident

Recent Grinnell graduates have been awarded the NSF GRF to pursue their graduate study in astronomy, sociology, biology, biostatistics, psychology, and more.

Applications are due in October, but early preparation is the secret to success. If you’re curious about this fellowship, come to the CLS to chat with Sarah Barks about getting started.
