The Intersection of Theatre, Education, & Social Justice–Dec. 2022 CLIMB Theatre Events

Interested in theatre, education, social justice careers, or a mix of all three?? Join us on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 3-5pm on the 2nd floor of the John Crystal Center (JCC) to discuss the intersection of these career paths with Anton Jones, a Grinnell alum (’02) who is the Artistic Director and CEO of CLIMB, a Minneapolis-based educational theatre organization dedicated to inspiring and propelling young people towards acts that benefit themselves, each other, and their communities. The two hours will consist of 1-on-1 appointments with Anton, so if you are interested, please email Rachel Edwards Harvith at harvith2@grinnell.edu as soon as possible, as there are only 4 appointment slots available!

Furthermore, join us the following day, Friday, December 9, 2022, from 12-1pm in the JRC Marketplace Dining Room 224A for a presentation by Anton and two other CLIMB employees/Grinnell alums, Lizzy Hinman (’20) and Abraham Teuber (’22). This will be a low-key, interactive discussion regarding careers in education, theatre, and social justice! If you don’t have a dining hall plan, sign in at the Marketplace front desk, and we’ll cover your meal! We look forward to seeing you then, and we can’t wait for you to meet these inspiring and passionate people!!
