Eric Otoo ’01, CLS Expert-in-Residence, September 27–30

Mr. Otoo is available for individual appointments with students during his stay as an Expert-in-Residence at the Center for Careers, Life, and Service (CLS). He is willing to speak with students about careers in finance or consulting, more generally, careers in business. He is also comfortable providing guidance on résumés, cover letters, job searching, networking, interview prep, and related career matters. Eric Nana Otoo has several years of experience in investment banking, consulting, and private equity, having worked with Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co., and Duet Private Equity, among others. He is currently Managing Director of Ghana Amalgamated Trust (GAT), a special-purpose private equity company set up by the Ghana Government to help fund selected local banks and assist with their business transformation, improving governance, management and operations, and becoming more competitive.

About Eric Otoo

Mr. Otoo received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School with second year honors as a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar. He has certificates as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM). Mr. Otoo chairs the board of directors at Tesah Capital and Spektra Global, and he also serves board directors of other companies including appsNmobile Solutions Limited, Vanguard Assurance, and Petra Trust. Mr. Otoo attended Grinnell College for his undergraduate studies where he was a Phi Beta Kappa honors student, majoring in economics and computer science.
