Members of the Health Professions Career Community attended the 2022 Heartland Premedical Conference at Des Moines University (DMU) on Saturday, August 27. Students attended seminars on preparing for and applying to professional school, participated in hands-on demonstrations and tours led by current medical students, and networked with admissions directors of osteopathic and podiatric schools. Organized by DMU, A.T. Still University, Kansas City University, and Marian University, this annual event provides professional development opportunities for prehealth students attending small colleges in the Midwest.
